Looks like ig from what i saw today was right many posts ago. seattlest.com reported in a post on West Seattle Blog that has a link to a You Tube video from No Touching Ground. It shows the artist putting up the moose and the owl as well as talking about his inspiration.
I'm glad to put a face to the art, but I think I liked the mystery better before it was solved. I will try looking at the artist's stuff though, even if it did seem like they were looking for a little free publicity.

Well I guess everyone has to make a living and since he's not making money on his public art, might as well sell some hand made Ts.
Marc Ecko did this on a huger scale http://www.marceckoenterprises.com/ and I must say it rubs me the wrong way.
I prefer the mystery too.
Yeah I have nothing against him selling some art, I just wish his public art personality stayed a secret.
